Pakistan teacher Ahmad Saya has won the teachers dedicated award through Cambridge University. He won this award as his name came in the final list of awards and according to Cambridge University it was not easy for him to win award. Other five teachers also included in the list along Ahmad Saya.
Program was organized on the topic of creativity in youth at National University of Modern Languages (NUML) Islamabad with the cooperation of British Council. Vice Chancellor (VC) of NUML University addressed from the event. He said that 2 million jobs are required every year in Pakistan to eradicate unemployment from Pakistan.
Convocation in Government College University (GCUF) will be organized on January 29, 2019. Candidates who had passed exams will be awarded degrees. 23854 students will be awarded degrees this year. PhDs passed candidates will also be given degrees. Governor Punjab, Ghulam Sarwar Khan will be the chief guest on this event of convocation.

Supreme Court in Islamabad has ordered private schools that they should refund half fees of summer vacations to parents but many private schools have ignored court’s orders. Concerned authorities have said that they are starting to take action against schools that have not abided by Court’s order to refund half school fees to parents.

HEC has decided not to give equivalence certificates for ACCA, ICMAP and ICAP degree holders and mentioned degrees will be equal to M.com degrees. Before this notification HEC used to issue equivalence certificates to students who used to apply for equivalence certificates and applicants have to do job for three years for getting this certificate.

Private schools are not returning extra fees as per court orders given earlier this year. According to previous news reports, High court ruled against the 8% increase in private school annual fees and ordered private schools to return all extra fees already charged to the students.
