Jawani Phir Nahi Ani 2 Earns More Than Sanju in its First Week

JPNA 2 Earns Over PKR 20 Crore in First Week

The movie released on the occasion of Eid-ul-Adha and it has been successfully running since the first day of its screening. For that reason the Pakistani movie has even left Ranbir Kapoor's film 'Sanju’ in regards to its first week earnings in Pakistan.

According to a website that compiles records of Pakistani films, JPNA 2 on the first day of release earned 2 crores 9 million, the second day it did a business of 3 crores 58 lacs, third day it made 3 crores 41 lacs, fourth day the film earned 3 crores 71 lacs, on the fifth day 3 crores 18 lakhs, sixth day earnings recorded as 1 crore 92 lacs and seventh day the movie had sales of 1 crore and 7 lacs.

In this way, the overall film was successful in earning PKR 20 Crore 64 lacs in its first week of release. This business earnings include the Rs. 24 lacs from JPNA 2’s premiere.

Hope For Pakistani Cinema

On the other hand, this year's most successful Bollywood movie "Sanju" had set up new record of highest earnings in Pakistan. However, even 'Sanju' was only successful in doing a business of a little over than 18 crores in the first week of its release, where ‘Jawani Phir Nahi Ani 2’ was able to earn more than 20 crore rupees in the country.
