The Microsoft Office Specialist World Championship presented by Certiport, Inc. is a international competition that tests student’s skills and expertise on Microsoft Office Word, Excel and PowerPoint (2010 or 2013). The top students from every country are invited to represent their respective countries at the World Championship. In some countries, students are required to participate in a National Championship, and the winners of that event continue on to the World Championship.
Microsoft Office Specialist World Championship is a competition at international level that checks the abilities of students in Microsoft Office Word, Excel and PowerPoint (2010 or 2013). Just brilliant aspirants are invited to represent their own countries at this World Championship. Participants have to train very hard to compete in the Championship. The aspirants from all over Pakistan are prepared for Microsoft Office Specialist certification where the top 118 students are nominated for the national championship. The event for the selection of best Pakistani aspirants was organized in june 2016 Islamabad this year.
Pakistani students has won the medals and cash prizes at the Microsoft Office Specialist World Championship in Orlando, Florida which took place between (August 7th- August10th).The top six selected aspirants are made Pakistani team and competed at Microsoft Office Specialist World Championship in Orlando, Florida which took place between (August 7th- August10th). Waqas ali, a Pakistani student belong to Ghotki has won the second bronze medal together with crash prize at the Microsoft Office Specialist World Championship 2016.
The second aspirant named Shahzaib Ishaq has also won a bronze medal as well as cash prize. This is for their excellent knowledge in the Microsoft office, excel, power point. Pakistani students at this event wore their national dress shalwar qameez with green combination represent their nationality Pakistani.
