ISLAMABAD / KARACHI / LAHORE / PESHAWAR / QUETTA: The number of confirmed COVID-19 cases in Pakistan climb to 4,004 on Tuesday after new victims were confirmed in the country.
 
The province-wise break up of the total cases as of 02:00 pm, April 7, is as follows:
 
Total confirmed cases pf COVID-19 in Pakistan: 4,004
 
• Punjab: 2,004
 
• Sindh: 986
 
• Khyber Pakhtunkhwa: 500
 
• Gilgit-Baltistan: 211
 
• Balochistan: 202
 
• Islamabad Capital Territory: 83
 
• AJK: 18
 


Total Deaths toll in Pakistan: 55
 
• Sindh: 18
 
• Khyber Pakhtunkhwa: 17
 
• Punjab: 15

The worldwide number of confirmed deaths from the coronavirus now above 74,000, according to a Reuters poll.
 
More than 1 million cases have been recorded in 209 countries and territories since the pandemic first appeared in China in December. Of these cases, at least 286,000 are now estimated to recover.
