PUNJAB: One of the biggest initiative, Punjab Education Endowment Fund (PEEF) is assembled for the empowerment of youth. The program is started by Chief Minister of Punjab Shahbaz Sharif, it hopes to provide educational Scholarships to unprivileged students.
This program is not only statistic to Punjab but all across the country in which young students belonging to any part of the country could participate.
More than 7 billion rupees have been spent on students through PEEF program about which 235,000 scholarships have been granted to students.
The budget allocates Rs 17.5 billion and currently, about 12000 applications are in process related to Master level.
CM said about the program that many students are getting the privileged to have quality education and subsequently they will help in national development near future. While endorsing the concept of rich and poor he negotiated such concept in educational institutes. He further believes that PEEF will bring a major change in education.
If you are interested to apply in such programs than you should be eligible according to the recommendation of such program, which are:
Such students must possess Punjab Domicile.
At least they have secured 60% marks. In alter to this, must have minimum 2.5 CGPA in B.CS, BS, B. Com, BA, BSc, etc.
Have passed their above mentioned examinations in the year 2015, 2016, or 2017.
There declared month income must be less than Rs. 30,000.
Students should secure admission in Government institutes or college that is affiliated to government’s institutes.
Students are recommended to submit their PEEF application form to financial Aid Office / Student Resource Center in their university. Alternatively
they can submit it to the Principal Office of Govt. Post Graduate Colleges in Punjab.
Remember, those applications that will be directly submitted to PEEF office will not be accepted.
